Good news! Our company has recently launched a new product- Three-phase Recloser. It is a high-Voltage Switchgear with built-in control and protection functions. It can automatically perform opening and reclosing operations in the AC line according to a predetermined sequence, and automatically reset and lock. "Built-in" means that it has the functions of detecting fault current (including overcurrent and ground current), controlling the operation sequence and executing functions, without the need for additional relay protection devices or providing operating power. The device is suitable for outdoor and field installation.

Its advantages are:

1. Save Substation investment. Since the recloser has its own functions, it can be installed on the outdoor pole without the need for additional control and operation devices. It can save the operating power supply and relay protection screen, and there is no need to build a distribution room. Therefore, it occupies a small area and has low land construction costs.

2. Improve the success rate of reclosing. By using a reclosing device and selecting a variety of reclosing schemes, the success rate of reclosing can be greatly improved, effectively reducing the number of non-fault power outages on the line.

3. Reduce the scope of fault power outage. If there is no line segmentation equipment, a fault at any point on the line will cause a complete power outage of the entire outgoing line. The coordination between the line segmentation equipment and the outgoing line switch is very important. After the substation adopts the recloser, it can be easily used with the sectionalizer, fuse or other line switch equipment to effectively isolate the faulty line section and limit the power outage caused by the line end or branch line fault to the minimum range.

4. Improve the level of operation automation. The recloser can automatically execute various pre-set multiple reclosing operation sequences without excessive human intervention. In addition, many reclosers are also equipped with mobile devices that can receive remote control signals to meet the requirements of centralized remote control and remote operation of substations. This not only improves the level of operation automation, but also creates conditions for unmanned or less-manned operation of substations.

5. Less maintenance workload. Long service life and less maintenance workload are obvious. Even oil reclosers usually need maintenance after 100 operations or 3 years of operation, which is longer than the maintenance-free period of oil circuit breakers of the same capacity. Due to the limited on-site maintenance conditions and levels, many switch accidents often occur after maintenance, so reducing the number of maintenance times and extending the maintenance-free period not only reduces the workload of operators, but also improves the reliability of equipment.
